How Long Will Invisalign Take?

If your teeth are not as straight as you’d like, but you’d like to remedy them without using metal orthodontics, Invisalign is a perfect solution for you. Invisalign is a orthodontic option that uses clear trays that bind to your teeth. They are basically see-through so they won’t draw attention to your mouth and are also removable so you can take them out for eating and dental hygiene needs.
At our dental office in Ardmore, Pennsylvania our dentist, Dr. Lindsey Marshall, has helped countless patients achieve their aesthetic goals through the use of Invisalign. She can help you understand the whole process, how long it will take, and the benefits of using Invisalign.
Typically, Invisalign needs to be worn for 12 months, depending on how straight your teeth were to begin with. The trays are custom-fit and change every 6 weeks in order to continuously guide your teeth into their optimal position.
We do offer an option, known as Invisalign Express, that typically lasts only five months, but our Ardmore dentist would have to determine if your teeth are right for that type of treatment.
To discuss all of your questions about Invisalign and determine if you’re a good candidate for this type of orthodontia, please contact Dr. Lindsey Marshall, DMD today. We proudly serve patients in Main Line, Ardmore, and Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Call us at (800) 237-5935.
