What is KoR Tooth Whitening?
- Posted on: Jul 31 2013
KoR tooth whitening is an innovative whitening system. KoR uses customized take-home trays to whiten your teeth, plus the option of an in-office treatment to optimize your tooth whitening results. The advantages of KoR tooth whitening includes:
- Removes surface stains as well as tough chemical stains, such as those caused by tetracycline.
- Customized trays seal in gel and lock out saliva, reducing the risk of sensitivity and providing optimal results.
- Long-term results should last for many years.
- Reduces tooth and gum sensitivity typically linked to tooth whitening.
After we take impressions of your teeth, your customized KoR tray will be created. You use the tray every night at home, for two weeks. You can optimize your results by also getting the in-office KoR tooth whitening treatment.
Unlike Zoom tooth whitening, KoR does not use a curing light during the in-office treatment. The curing light used in certain tooth whitening treatments may slightly increase the risk of temporary gum and tooth sensitivity. KoR also prevents gum irritation by sealing the whitening gel inside the custom tray and preventing any leaks.
