Frequently Asked Questions About Invisalign
Is Invisalign more expensive than braces?
The price of Invisalign is comparable to that of traditional metal braces. However, more severe issues will require more aligner trays to correct, which will affect the price of treatment. Some cases may require another orthodontic solution altogether. If you are an Invisalign candidate, we'll provide an estimated cost of treatment during your free consultation.
Does Invisalign hurt?
You may experience slight discomfort at the start of using a new tray. However, this is normal and temporary.
How often will I visit for Invisalign check-in appointments?
You’ll change your aligners every two weeks but visit us about every six. During your appointments, your dentist will make sure your treatment is progressing as planned.
Will I need to wear a retainer after?
Yes. Once your clear aligner treatment is complete, we’ll provide you with a customized retainer that you’ll wear each night to maintain your results.
